Trying to find a way to solo this nightfall strike, once I can get in I can't for the life of me get 25 light. Halopedia, the Halo wiki. I'm doing the latest one and man is it tough.

Chung, design lead on Destiny , in Bungie's weekly update today. You fisted like a champ! Contribute Destinypedia's pages can be edited. But why not let us try and fail with randoms? What Destinypedia is not. Would have been nice if I had at least someone to distract the enemies.

Because you need to be able to communicate for coordinated attacks and ressing each other. Yeah, that was Bungie's reasoning. But still, it's cutting out a lot of people that will buy this and get turned off by something like that.

It's like kicking them in the nuts for not having friends. It's a pain in the arse since I only have 3 friends who bought an Xbox one who will play the game as much as me. Damn I really sounded like a douche with that comment. Englisherino not my native language. This is so stupid. Why would they not do matchmaking for this? Also why am I getting hunter vanguard armor drops when I'm a warlock?

I solo'd it yesterday at level Just give it a shot. Use a sniper, and a decent primary. If you can, take advantage of the modifier for arc damage. I have thunderlord and it uses arc. The thing was tearing through most of the mobs. Arc weapons straight steam roll through sepiks and the walker. Blue is arc, orange is solar, purple is void.

There will be a symbol next to the attack power. If it's white with no symbol, it's just kinetic damage. It's not something on our end. The modifier is comparable to the skulls in halo. Whenever you'd turn on a skull, it would alter gameplay. In this case, all arc damage is substantially increased, even for your weapons. I've played all week and still not played with friends due to time differences so i wouldn't of minded playing with strangers because I feel its slightly boring being on your own.

I feel the reason that we have to make are own time for the weeklys is to challenge us I mean come on, we get exotics in exchange for strange coins, we gotta work for them some how really ain't we. Otherwise the gear would be handed on a plate: This may be a unpopular opinion but I like that the Weekly doesn't have matchmaking.

It's tough enough that I don't want randoms and if your friends aren't on that day, you still have the rest of the week to get it done. And honestly, its the only reason to actually socialize with other players in the game.

If not, everything would be matchmaking and I would have no reason to get to know any of my fellow Guardians.

Because the difficulty is too high for the average person. That's why people solo it, because the difficulty is too high for an average person Reminds me of OG wow battlegrounds when a group of 10 people would party up to make a "plow", and then get stomped still.

Took an hour, but we did it. Just let us use damn matchmaking. It's hard enough to socialize in the game as it is. This is just another unnecessary, anti-social layer to sort through. I'd like matchmaking as well but to not discredit forming a group manually is that you can look for specific things like wanting communication and geared players. Yes I know Bungie can set gear restrictions. I've done the heroic and it wasn't very hard.

It certainly didn't require communication, I didn't bother with a mic. There's no new tactics needed, it's exactly the same as the normal strikes but with higher health enemies. However I did have to go through all the effort of finding other people just so I could play exactly how I would have with randoms.

Finding people takes up valuable time. I myself really prefer to solo story content, and keep team play to PvP. I hung around the spawn area and invited another dude and we double teamed it.

It would have been a lot easier to have just been put together in matchmaking. I've no idea where I'm going to come up with 5 friends for the raid when I've got 6 total on my psn 3 of whom don't own destiny. I've got a job and a very young kid so it's hard to stick to time commitments with strangers rather than just dropping in and matchmaking it. Not all people are like us, going on a subreddit or something along those lines, finding people to play with.

You can achieve it with your friends but randoms mostly will make you rage and lose because almost no one will have mic on or will be willing to talk.

But why not let us try and fail with randoms? If it's too hard then it's too hard, but for fuck's sake give us that option! I was doing the Lair on 22 at level 20 with no problems after the randoms bailed This was also at around 7 am after being up since 2pm, and at that point I decided I would rather go to bed than finish the strike, lol!

This is the company line, but I fail to see a huge difference between the randoms I'd get in matchmaking vs the randoms I'd find on the internet. I suck but I managed to get through it with two randoms on my first try. Because the content is difficult. I ran the 26 weekly heroic last night and used destinylfg. I found a team in 15 minutes and since I took the extra time to make a group, none of us backed out when shit got hard.

Took us two hours but we won, and now I've made two more friends I can play destiny. We all agreed to call on each other for future content. If Bungie implemented a lfg, people would just leave when shit got hard. We beat the heroic and I got red death. It was my coolest memory yet and it only took me 15 minutes to make a group. Quit bitching about everything now. You have a whole week to co-ordinate with 2 friends for a 30 minute mission, if you all somehow can't get online at the same time then try searching on the bungie forums or on the fire team sub reddit.
