Thank you, Lord, for answering my prayer. Richard and the kids have finally moved on. Luke just broke up with Joey. And things have been wonderful. I can see it with Maya…She made me smile again. She made everyone smile. Kahit na si Manang Fe. She always finds a reason to be happy. Nakakahawa… Hindi ko pa nasasabi sa mga bata.
Di ko sila bibiglain… I have to go, Alex. Goodbye… Goodbye, Richard… I will always love you, and I know you will, too… Thank you for always being there for our children, for making them your top priority. When I left you and the children more than five years ago, I already bid you goodbye then. But because you continued to hold on to our love and all the memories we shared together, I could not completely let go. Back then, all I ever wished and prayed for was for your acceptance and healing.
I am glad Maya came into your life to answer my prayer. She is the best thing that ever happened to you and the kids.
I am happy to see that she loves the kids like her own. And you two truly deserve each other… You have my blessing, Richard! I guess, I already knew even before you did that Maya is the one for you.
She is everything you could ever hope for in a partner. I am truly glad you two met, and you opened your heart to her. They are both ready to see you fall in love again.
Your happiness is important to them. They already love Maya like family. Trust that they will learn to accept Maya, too. And of course, our dear Abby has long accepted Maya as her mom. Richard and Maya, I am happy for both of you! You both have my blessing and my love! You can now embark on that journey to forever you both deserve…. Richard stepped inside th4e Royale Restaurant at exactly 2: He approached the usherette and said: He regularly dined in this posh restaurant that the staff already knew him.
Maya dela Rosa is already here. Richard noted how young she looked. She looked like a typical young lady — the average kind. He is indeed drop-dead-gorgeous. Releasing her hand, he asked her to sit down. They ordered and settled themselves. Maya nodded once more. After that, we observed Abby could no longer talk.
I even tried having her undergo speech therapy but to know avail. She will heal in time and Dra. Suarez recommended Music therapy. She has a very sensitive condition. For a while, they were silent. It was Richard who broke the silence. Schedule po — everyday po ba si Abby magpa-piano lessons or every other day?
What do you think? Increase na lang po natin by another 30 minutes as time goes by. Maya happily dug into her food. As she ate, she chatted about her job as choir moderator. She also chatted about her family. He was not interested about her life. He just expected her to do her job… period… Maya went on and on and on until Richard found her quite annoying.
When he could not take it anymore, he said as politely as he could sound: Do you mind if we concentrate on eating? He thought she was going to feel bad.
They went on eating. After they ate, they again shook hands. I will have my driver pick you up. Thank you very much po. Hindi man lang ako sinamahan palabas… Tsk! Naku, Maya this is it!!! Maya woke up early that Monday morning. She was really excited. She had prepared her piano books for beginners yesterday and made sure everything was in order.
When she finished ablooting, she texted Sr. Fe ready n po aq 4 my first day of work. Their family has been through so much. Their father is nowhere to be seen. Nanay Teresita, Mamang and the two of them had since been struggling to make both ends meet. But lately, sending him to school had been a tedious responsibility.
Their only source of income is their flower shop. They got flowers from Dangwa and sold them. Maya got hired as a choir moderator in Sta. Catalina College and had to leave home and go to Manila. But still, enough money was quite elusive. She hoped against hope that Maya was right about this.
Maya is always one to be positive and persistent. She never gave up on her dreams. The conversation was cut short when Maya heard somebody calling from the gate of her small apartment. Text na lang kita mamaya ha? Ikumusta at i-I love you mo ako kina Nanay, Mamang at Cho! When Maya went outside, she was met by a smiling guy.
Pareho lang naman tayong employed ni Mr. He had a feeling they will become friends. Maya and Joma talked just about anything under the sun.
Maya was happy she now had a friend. She hoped that the Lim household will be as warm and as kind as Kuya Joma…. Lim… Maya thought she knew why the tiger was like that. He lost his wife in an absurd tradgedy. She silently prayed for God to heal his broken heart. They had lunch at Jollibee. But please be careful okay?
Abby kissed her dad, smiled at Maya then happily skipped off to the playground. Maya and Richard were left alone on the table. She knew one thing for sure. Watching the two of them together makes her feel warm inside. Napaka-devoted father ni Richard.
And Abby obviously adores her dad. But there was that issue. He is still deeply in love with his wife. Alex may be gone physically but she is still there, occupying his heart. Richard was watching Maya as she was lost thought. His mind travelled back to the events last night. She saw me when I was broken and empty. And I kissed her back. She made me feel alive again. He paused and let this sink in. I cannot allow myself to fall in love with Maya…. They just sat there in silence. Each lost in their own thoughts.
Maya would occasionally glance at Richard, then look away. Richard would do the same. Neither of them mentioned last night. When they got back to the car, Abby fell asleep almost immediately.
Ok lang ba idaan muna natin sya sa bahay before I bring you back to the dorm? And for me , he added silently. The doctors say that it will happen eventually. Just then, they reached their destination. Richard turned the engine off. He carried Abby inside the house with Maya following behind them.
He gently laid Abby on her bed. He sat beside her for a moment, smoothing her hair and tucking her under the blanket. He looked at Maya, who was just as excited as he was. Richard bent down near Abby. Richard got up and walked with Maya out of the room.
The last time was after we came from the zoo. Before that, nung nag horseback kami sa Tagaytay. Tapos nun ding 6th birthday nya, ang saya nya nun. Para mas madalas syang magsalita! Then he looked at Maya. I think Abby really enjoys your company and it will be good for her.
Maya felt his hand on her arm. She looked at him. How could she say no to that? Besides, para naman ito kay Abby. He was smiling at her, and she smiled back at him.
Manang Fe smiled back at them. Manang Fe smiled as he looked at his alaga. She took care of Richard since he was a baby. Maya went out again several times with Richard and Abby. Sometimes for lunch, or dinner, or to the mall.
Abby seemed to have gotten really attached to Maya. And Maya herself has gotten attached to Abby as well, kissing her often and fondly calling her baby. Richard would often glance at the two of them and feel like his heart would burst with happiness. He enjoyed every minute when Maya was around and he loved seeing Abby so happy.
He found himself smiling a lot more now. There was this lightness in his heart and everyone who knew him noticed this, lalo na si Manang Fe.
They were just content to enjoy what they had right now. When they arrived, Richard parked the car but kept the engine running.
Kung papano nya i-e-explain kay Richard why she kissed him. She was attracted to him, to his vulnerability, to his loyalty to the one he loved, to his soul. She knew she was in love with him. Richard saw the panic in her eyes. My wife and daughter were my life. Everything else, like my career, was secondary. And in the blink of an eye, they were taken away.
But I felt like I was devoid of emotion. She felt tears stinging her eyes. She realized what Richard was trying to tell her…. Nakakaspeechless po talaga ang mga comments niyo. So let me take this moment to commemorate and respond to the love of these ten people who commented in the previous chapter. Okay na ba for someone without first-hand experience? Ano ba sasabihin ko. My Blossom wag mo ng patagalin ang next please.
Love you blossom tc Godbless always. I love you din po. A good word is more than enough to spawn a thousand smiles.
Thank you po Ms. Hindi ko ma-Explain what I Feel.. As for your question, I do have a Tumblr account though I hate to admit that its centuries old, probably littered with cobwebs and dust for remaining stale all these years.

For example, Lets go home na Lets go home now.
Gimmick slang meaning good time, party, magwatch ng movie. Rotonda — roundabout British or circle American. Commuter same meaning as in other Englishes, pero in Philippine English, isang walang sariling sasakyan.
Idagdag dito ang iba pang Philippine English words like presidentiable , senatoriable and fiscalize na tayo lang ang gumagamit if informally. AS an acquired language, di maiwasang ang English ng mga Pinoy ay magkaroon ng ilang changes due to our peculiarities and idiosyncrasies as a multi-cultured people, lalo na sa pagbigkas, accent, and other language aspects.
But as regards grammar, diction, and pronunciation, ang educated Philippine English ay hindi naiiba sa American and British Englishes. Intelligible ito anywhere in the world in both its spoken and written forms. Ang important word ay educated. Lahat ng mga Englishes sa mundo basta educated ay understandable in their spoken and written forms. So kung tayo ay 80 million people, iyan ay 27 million Filipinos. Sabihin nang about 10 percent of that ay below seven years old, leaving just about 24 million Filipinos na well versed in English, ito ay isang considerable market pa rin for English-language products such as books, newspapers, magazines, song, movies, ideas, etc.
Taglish ang pumalit sa English as second language of at least 65 percent of Filipinos, mostly non-Tagalog. Itoy sa dahilang ang Taglish ay informal development and evolution ng Tagalog, and essentially Tagalog pa rin. Pagkat ang Taglish ay lingua franca ng mga Pilipino, and in fact spoken too in the United States, Canada, Australia and other parts of the world na may Filipino community, ito ay ready at nararapat nang isapamantayan.
Pero hindi lang ito ang reason kaya dapat nang standardizin ang Taglish as a modern-day evolution of Tagalog. Duty and obligation natin ito sa ating sarili as a people pagkat hindi maganda na ang isang bansa ay nagsasalita ng isang language na neither here nor there.
Okay lang ito as a formal for of Tagalog. But as regards intellectualization, ito ay late ng isang century sa Standard Taglish, na isinasuggest kong tawagin nating Pinglish for political correctness. Puwedeng itranslate sa Filipino ang ano mang technical and mathematical literature kung gagamit ng mga coined and invented words.
In fact, possible ito even in primitive languages like that of the Tasadays.
Reading-ready na itong pumalit sa English in all school levelsanytime, ora mismo.
Manuel Luis Quezon noon pang early s. On the way na tungo sa ganap na realization ang dream na ito ni Quezon. Mayroon na tayong national language na masasabing our very own, now also known internationally as Taglish. Katunayan, dinidefine ito ng Wordweb , isang online dictionary, as informal mixture of Tagalog and English used in the Philippines. Yes, only in Pilipinas.
And because ang Tagalog at English ay sabay nating ginagamit nationwide since the early s hanggang ngayon, marami nang Tagalog and English words ang bahagi na ng ating vocabulary and already common to all Filipinos.
On the other hand, ang said sentence ay grammatical Tagalog. Tagalog grammar ang inemploy by repeating phonologically the first sysllable of the verb e-earthquake para magamit in the future tense, and in the Tagalog-grammar way.
Anong mga dahilan at naintegrate sa speech ng present-day generation of Pinoys and maraming foreign loanwords, so much so na namodify considerably ang kanilang thinking process?
